Graphic & editorial design

SDB (Sjondebaron) — Graphic & Editorial designer based in Amsterdam, with
an editorial and typographic approach. My method of work is research-driven,
using in-depth analysis to uncover underlying structures and translate them
into clear visual systems. 

This forms the foundation for projects that range from book design to visual
identities, websites, and other printed matter. Much of my work is rooted in the
music and cultural sector, where I develop concept-driven visual identities,
poster campaigns, and web design & development. My focus is always on
building strong, thoughtful concepts that shape both form and function.

Graduation catalogue for the University of the Arts Utrecht classes of 2018. A publication designed to fit all the diverse content of all six departments graduating from the University of the arts Utrecht (HKU). A strict but open and flexible grid allows the content to move freely over the pages and makes for a catalogue that never gets too repetitive. A self-initiated publication by graduates of the HKU.
